HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC:

Job Summary:
Premier Concrete Pumping is looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics to inspect, diagnose, recommend and repair faults & malfunctions in mechanical components, hydraulic systems and electronics of German engineered pumping equipment at our Orangeville shop, located 25 minutes North of Brampton.

Duties Include:
Diagnose and repair any unit brought into the shop. Performing inspections and safeties. Communicate with equipment owners for authorizing of servicing and repairs as required. Check/test all repaired work to ensure that pumps are in good and safe operating condition. Review documentation and or repair order to ensure all required information on repair order is accurate legible and complete. Record parts and equipment utilized on the repair order and ensure the parts person is aware of stock taken. Reasonable aptitude with computers. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Dependable, hardworking, punctual, reliable, team player with positive attitude.

Position Requirements:
Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs, standing, bending, full body motion in the execution of the role. Over the phone customer support may be required. An understanding of concrete, construction and concrete pumping would be an asset. Previous experience working on Mack or Putzmeister equipment an asset. Welding Experience, D or AZ License, Fork Lift Operation experience a plus, but not required

CONCRETE BOOM PUMP OPERATOR - NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Premier Concrete Pumping is looking for a Concrete Pump Operator with an AZ or DZ licence to safely drive and operate a concrete boom truck, to and from construction sites, located throughout central Ontario.

Duties Include:
Safe operation of Concrete Pump and equipment. Maintain cleanliness and Maintenance of equipment. Receive and relay information to dispatcher promptly. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service. Uphold Company core values. Practice safe work ethics. Follow company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:
Must have a valid AZ or DZ license with a clean driving record. Ability to drive and back up trucks/trailers. Must have basic mechanical knowledge/skills to conduct minor repairs/maintenance. Ability to lift objects exceeding 70 lbs. Must be detail oriented with attention to cleanliness and care of equipment. Willingness to work flexible hours with varying start/finish times including occasional Saturday shifts. Must be able to effectively communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner. A keen awareness for your surroundings is mandatory.
